Wiehahn Formwork and Scaffolding were operating out of this site prior to construction. A master plan consisting of a new administration building, new maintenance facilitiy, security entrance facility and extensive civil works was drawn up for the entire site. However due to budget constraints only a 900 m2 maintenance facility, the security entrance and limited civil works were completed.
Construction started in May 2009 and was completed in August 2009. The branch managers and staff were delighted with their new facility upon completion.
The professional team consisted of GM Quantity Surveyors, Jan Ras Architects Group and Moroff and Kuhn Consulting Engineers and QDP Lighting and Electrical Design.
